Igloo previewed their first group live work - A Creature Very Like Us at
The Curtain Theatre, Toynbee Studios in London alongside Cuckoo - Igloo's
short dance film, the result of a week long residency at Artsadmin.
A Creature Very Like Us is a stark and anthemic technoir, made with choreographic
principles derived from motion capture and telematic performance. Ruth Gibson
and Mark Bruce start their quest to unravel The Toxic Twin. Their duet involves
the strange nature of dual identity and features the music of Icelandic band
Sigur Ros.

Cuckoo explores a representation of the body as a mirror image, a reflection, as another. Inspired by perpetual daylight witnessed whilst in Iceland in the summer, the film alters the perception of time. With a haunting Sigur Ros soundtrack the film take viewers on a journey of shifting landscapes made from shimmering bodies.
